A Subject Matter Expert Review type is where you evaluate applicants and provide written documentation of the applicant's qualifications to human resources.
To access this page, select the Assignment Name link from the Assignments tile on the Dashboard. When you open an assignment for the first time, the instructions from your HR office will display.
The following elements are displayed on this page:
- Position Information. This section displays the Position Title, Series, Pay Plan and Grade for the review.
- Total Applicants. This section displays the total number of applicants to be evaluated.
- Progress Bar. This bar displays how many applicants have been or are actively being evaluated within the assignment. Note: The progress bar tracks the total number of applicants included in a single review assignment. You may not evaluate all the applicants in that assignment due to other SME Reviewers working in the same assignment.
- Details. This section displays the Review Name, Due Date, Number of SMEs assigned as Reviewers and Number of SMEs assigned as Tiebreakers.
- Applicant Name. This is the name of the applicant for you to evaluate.
- Time Remaining. This countdown reflects the time remaining for you to evaluate this applicant.
- Submit Evaluation. This button allows you to submit your evaluation to HR.
- Recuse Yourself. This button allows you to recuse yourself from reviewing an applicant. For more instructions, see: Recusing yourself from an evaluation.
- Evaluation Criteria. This displays the evaluation criteria that you are using to evaluate the applicant's documents.
- Evaluation Responses. This radio button allows you select the appropriate response for the applicant's qualifications.
- Evaluation Justification. This section allows you to provide your written justification to HR for this applicant.
- Submit Evaluation. This button allows you to submit your evaluation to HR.
